Have you ever wondered what it is like to live in another part of the world? Are you curious about how water affects our lives? Well a group of students in the US Virgin Islands teamed up with a group of students in Washington State to collaborate on a project that is simple known as "The Water Project".

These groups of students chose a series of topics that would be explored on both ends of the project.

Wait 'til you hear what happened next!

Vicki Albrecht and Meredith Blache, a teacher team from Washington state, were brought down to the USVI, through a project called ETHome, to help integrate technology into the curriculum of two schools (Wesleyan Academy and Moravian School).

Over a span of 6 months, Vicki and Meredith worked with several classes in each school and introduced various forms of technology including: the use of Handled Computers/ Palms; Goknow.com handheld software and PAAM online storage for Palms; My-ecoach.com Online workspace and project builders; techyes.net a technology certification program created by generationyes.org.
